Portals to the Ocean of Love
As an artist with a grandmother who is Mother Earth, the sea and I see things from the exact same perspective. I am the Ocean of Love, and these four circular collages serve as Portals into that shared vision. We often think of ourselves as separate from nature, but we are simply a drop in the ocean, and that ocean is within us. Also featuring a physical ocean collage door, each piece acts as a doorway to the deep sea—a moving, stimulating realm of profound, never-ending awe. With this series, I truly hope to put the O(h) in Ocean!
